*surprise, surprise*

Yup, I went to cell just now, and what a surprise.. we had 11 members in total.. a rather big group.. no wonder we're in the plan for multiplication in October.. getting excited.. it's gonna be the 2nd multiplication since we came here... Praise the Lord!

And another surprise was when I came home..I went for cell alone, as hubs had to visit a friend whose wife just gave birth today..(not mentioning the number of people having the same birth date today!)..and.. when I came home, I was happily talking to hubs and sharing to him what we did at cell and suddenly I saw something on my lappy.. something was amiss.. something which I have not seen since our courting days... a nice and rosy bouquet of flowers!!! And a handmade card from him.. hehehe... It was really a surprise as I didn't expect it.. and the occasion? It's our fifth "pak-tor" anniversary.. It's been 5 years.. time passes so fast.. 3 years + of courtship and close to 2 years of marriage... and I'm looking forward to more anniversaries with hubs.. *wink wink* Thanks dear..

And yeah, just a note to wish my maid-of-honor, "BLESSED BIRTHDAY" , girl!! May God bless you heaps! Hehehe.. :)

Surprises!

Yeah.. I had more surprises over the weekend...Actually this is a continuation from the previous blog. Hehehe.
Next, we went to the latest shopping mall in town, the Pavillion. It's near Bukit Bintang area, can't remember exactly though. It's huge, and hmm.. perhaps caters for the upper middle class or the elite classes. Can't buy anything there. But... the toilets were super cool. They have sofas in it, a dresser, and the finishing was also nice. Never thought Msia would have such public toilets. And.. it's free to use. Impressed. Also, the fitting rooms are rather cool too. They have a 3 panel mirror, a chair and table perhaps for people to sit and make comments on what you're trying on. Hehehe.

Fitting room

p/s: To take pics of the toilet and fitting room, Jason had to be my spy to ensure no one passes by, of course, minus the cleaner lady. Hahaha. *paiseh*

My Bonuses:

Since it was my birthday, and I've been eyeing on this for a long time, I got myself a SKII set.(err.. Jason said he'll sponsor half. :P) Hehe. Actually just thought of getting the "miracle water", and surprisingly enough, it's about RM60 cheaper than in Spore. And, I just needed to add another RM23 and I get a full set which consists of the cleanser, toner, mosturizer and the "miracle water" (smaller bottle). It's a good set, not the full-size, but just to test to see if my skin is ok with it. (I know eRic! is shaking his head by now. He was with us throughout the wholeeeee day).

Next, it was rather a surprise for me. My parents-in-law (PIL) were in China over the week, and came back on Friday night, thus we met up for lunch on Saturday before they left back home for Segamat. And over lunch, my mum-in-law (MIL) gave me a small box, and to my surprise, it was a travel make-up set from Christian Dior. I thank her for it. Me, being ignorant in make-up things, didn't know it was quite pricey (almost the price of my SKII), only later, when I saw the price tag, I was like.. almost *fainted*. In my entire life, I don't think I will spend this much on a makeup set, unless I am a pro artist. Hahaha. I asked Jason if this is a hint from his mum that I should start making up? Hahaha. Just kidding, I guess she knows that we go for many wedding dinners, and it's convenient to bring this along rather than my whole bag of stuffs. It even has a mascara in it. Coolness. I love it. :)

Last but not least, it was a lovely birthday gift from a good friend of mine, just before we left back for Melaka. A Lancome perfume. Thanks, girl! I get the hint, I know I stink :P I love the shape of the bottle. So unique.

Overall, it was a lovely weekend. Being a plain Jane, it was first time ever I have all these things come at once. Hahaha. Also, besides all these, being with your good friends/love ones are just plain.. priceless.

At Coffee Bean Mont Kiara with Jessie

Thanks Jessie for letting me bunk over at your place on a short notice (blame it on MC) :P. It was fun chatting till the wee hours of the morning. :)

Dim Sum with MC

Thanks MC for sparing some time with me even though I know you just got back from Spore in the wee hours of the morning. Hehehe. :) Didn't feel like going back. Sigh.

Jason's cuzzies - L-R, oldest to the youngest. We usualy bunk at their place when we're in KL.

Above all, we thank God for a safe journey back home to Melaka (it was pouring cats & dogs) and back to Spore.

And yes, not forgetting the small celebration we had during cell yesterday even though only 7 of us turned up, perhaps due to the heavy rain. Two cakes this year. Wow. Too much for me. I feel so blessed. :) *sob sob*

Guess what?

It was a truly enjoyable weekend, not to mention, tiring too. :) Remember the things I was supposed to do/buy before the weekend? Well... managed to do all of it and even got some bonus.. hehehe.. So, here's the 3 things I got/did:

I did it! Something like the Jakarta trip, not too short as my chubby face will be chubbier. And he cut my fringe a lil' too short, but I guess it's ok...Hopefully it'll look alright during my friend's wedding in 2 weeks time. People still can't guess my actual age when we celebrated our birthday.. lalalala... By the way, I didn't dye my hair. Not sure if it's the color effect, but I did dye like eons ago. Weird, how the color comes out so well now.

I guess most of you can guess which one I bought. Yep.. it's the Nikon P5100. It has the capability of a manual mode, of course, you can play around with the aperture & shutter speed, plus, it's 12.1MP (extra 2MP than its predecessors, P5000). Woo Hoo! And, we asked for a taller tripod which can sit a normal DLSR, and also a video camera (it came with a shorter one, but we already have), 2G flash memory, screen protector & UV crystal filter. And yeah, we bought it together with eRic!. Yay! I guess he must be busy with his new toy now. Now the next thing to get is a good pouch. The one that came with it is a little too thin, and taking into consideration what happened to my previous Nikon 7900, the LCD screen has a little flower on it, because it must have got knocked with the tripod during our trip to Korea. Heart-broken as the camera was still less than 6 mths then. We got it in KL Plaza, because most of the shops in Low Yat didn't have this model just yet, and those which did, didn't want to budge on their price. Too bad, they lost the sales of two cams. Right now, still reading the manual, too many functions to use. Overall, we're satisfied with the performance of the camera, at least, better than our previous camera. :)

3. A dress
I managed to find it in Sg Wang. Jason bargained, and managed to get it cheaper. (well, it's still cheaper than the one I saw here). No pics of it as I've left it back in Melaka. Will post it up after the wedding :)
More to come...
