Short or Long?
Yeah.. am talking about my hair!!! Hee hee hee... I realised that, my friends, after getting married, they cut their hair! And they look good! And yes, I did cut my hair like in ... April? Just before my Jakarta trip and before I came down to Spore. But it wasn't actually short because of my squarish face, that I can't sport a bob. :( Anyway, after about six months.. it grew.. and to a length that I find it hard to maintain... My hair is naturally slightly wavy but will be straight if it's of the same length as it will be heavier that way. Now, it's hay-wire. And it's "kembang-ing" on the upper side. (The layers have all gone downwards). I have to keep on tying my hair now. And yeah, I'm slightly balding. Yes balding. My baby bro spotted the bald while I was tying my hair up.
So... I am waiting to go to KL next week for a hair cut. Hopefully I can have it short, without it enhancing my face shape. Hehehe... Talk about vanity.... Lalalalalala... So which do you think suits me?
November'06 : After the wedding, during honeymoon. It went through rebonding in Jan'06.
December'06: Miki's wedding. Had a short trim. (slighhhhhtly shorter :P)
March'07: Janet's wedding. It grew...
April'07: Jakarta trip. Had a cut just before the trip. Not that short huh?
September'07: Cheryl's wedding. Kinda messy at the bottom.
go short! hehe. never try, never know. =P every girl should try having it real short at lest once in her life. hehehe. get a good hairdresser to do it htough. pay a lil more but enjoy the beauty after. ;)
oh, i know. usually i go to jason's uncle's salon in taipan, usj. he has been cutting my hair since before the wedding. and, as a pro, the shortest he could cut was that length, because of my face shape. i dare not try other hair salonist. i tried once in team studio in melaka, paid abt Rm40, but still, not to my satisfaction. :) see how. i know u look good in short & long!
Rach, if you haven't had short hair before, just cut it. Eh my face is as round as the mooncake and I still have a bob. The secret to concealing the jawline is having your hair longer in front and shorter at the back, just like mine.
I'm growing out my hair though cuz I haven't had my hair long in 3 years already.
About your 'balding problem', I had that too and I think I'm still shedding quite a fair bit of hair now, just not as bad as last time. Do you remember in high school, I had really thick hair and when I started working, my hair kept falling out at a very scary rate. Now my hair is damn little. That was the reason why I had to cut my hair short, to give illussion that I have a lot of hair when in reality, it's all just volume cuz I'm good at styling. Hehe.
Anyways, back to the problem. I went to a skin specialist and after a few tests, apparently it was due to my irregular sleep patterns (cuz I work shifts) and hormonal changes. I was given some vitamins and it controlled the hair loss for awhile. But it came back, so I went to see a few stylists and they said it was because my scalp is sensitive. My scalp is prone to oiliness because the pores on my scalp gets clogged with build-ups and residues from the shampoos that I use. So they recommended that I alternate baby shampoo with my regular shampoo and so far I think it work. Bad news is, I was told my hair will never gain back its density because some of the cells on my scalp is damaged already and no hair will ever grow from the pores. So sad!
So you better treat your problem asap.
Hey KS, thanks for ur opinions. I'm fine now, am using Jason's hair tonic. hahaha. tumpang lah. Have had bad experiences before with short hair, that's why am abit weary. hehehe... But ya, will see what his uncle can do for me. :)
you look real nice with the short hair during the jakarta trip. :) what about a perm? hehe. else, the longer in the front and shorter at the back look is quite chic too. ;)
Hey auds... yeah.. I'll go for something like that, mebbe cut shorter. Hehehe... I didn't realise my hair grew quite fast since April. Perm? Nehh.. pass that idea. :) Hehehe...
