My Easter weekend

* Note: This is gonna be a long post with lots of pictures.. Bear with me :)*

It was a great weekend in Malacca, with the additional public holiday of Good Friday. We left for Spore at about 7pm (rushed for the bus like a mad person), as usual, there were traffic jams everywhere. Reached Malacca at about 11pm. :)

Next morning, went to the dentist for my checkup. After that, we both went our separate ways for lunch. Jason went lunch with his ex-dept from Qimonda, whereas, I went out with Joey & Hazel. (forgot to take pic with Joey. Hehehe)

He caught up with us at coffee bean (JJ)

After that, we visited JaMi before they left for KL that evening, to play with the new addition to their family, Cophie. He's a mixed breed of maltese and poodle. He is only 2 months old. Super adorable. :)

That night, we had pot bless at Joseph's house with some of the church members. His is a bungalow, and he even has swings for his nephews and nieces when they come to visit him. As you can also see, he has a couple of dogs, a labrador retriever mixed breed, Smiley, and a retriever, Dodi. Very handsome and smart dogs. And of course, took some pics with my beloved nieces, Crystal & Celine. Hehehe.

The next day, I didn't bring my camera out so no pictures, but we managed to clean and mop the whole house that afternoon. It feels good. Hehehe. The two kids were over at my parents place, with their dad while waiting for their mum to finish her facial session nearby. Crystal will be seven this December, and Celine will be three this August. Some phrases and conversations with the little one.

(Mum gave 2 pieces of biscuits and put in a plate for Celine, then as they were starting to walk out of the kitchen...)
Mum: Celine, ask jie-jie (big sister in Mandarin) if she wants to eat some biscuits...
Celine: (without asking her sister), No, jie-jie don't want to eat.
All of us laughed, because she answered on behalf of her sister, and mainly, because she didn't want to share her biscuits. Hahahaha.

While watching a movie, they were bored, Crystal was coloring in her book and also scribbling...
Celine: Daddy, jie-jie conteng. (scribble in Malay)
We were all shocked because she knew how to use that word! Must be from her grandma.Haha.
Of course there were other phrases that she used which caught us by surprise and she was pretty friendly and chatty the whole weekend.

Took the pics below in church on Sunday, and during lunch. Happy with the stickers I gave them.

After church, we went to the optical shop to change Jason's specs frame. It broke. Then we visited the Teus. Have not seen them ever since their daughter was born.. like a year ago? Hehehe.

Lil' YingYing is sooo cute. I still can't make out whose face does she look like. I guess it's a mix.
When we were there, she was sleeping, and the first pic was when she just got up, playing with her "doggy". She could even nicely dance to the tune that the doggy played. Hehehe. We had to leave cause we had to pack to go back to Spore, and so I nicely said to her, "Come let's go" with my arms open wide. Surprisingly, she wanted me to carry her. Ha... And she can even wave goodbye to her parents with an additional flying kiss to each of them...

Then she saw my handbag, and wanted to carry it... So I let her. After that, her mum wanted to take the handbag away, and I also tried, she refused to let go of the bag, but instead, she can wave goodbye to both her parents with the bag on her arm. Hahaha. Her mum wanted to carry her, but she was clinging on to me. It was such a funny sight. In the end, we gave her a tupperware bottle to carry and I got back my bag. *phew*. She was kind of confused in the end because she thought she was supposed to follow me, but ended up in her mum's arms. Smart and cute girl.

Ahh.. kids....so cute and adorable to play with.. but you'll never know how they can be like when u have to take care of them... :P

So overall, I guess it was a good weekend. Managed to do a lot of things with the house and also catch up with friends...

I hope you had a good weekend too, did you? (yeah, I need to hit off to the gym after all the good food back in Melaka.. sigh)
