Vivo City
Last Friday,we met up with JW, a friend of ours, from our university Christian Fellowship. She is currently attached to SIA, will be flying her first flight to Australia this coming Sat. So far, she’s the only friend that we have who is an air-stewardess. Enough of intro, we were supposed to meet up at Bugis Junction, but Jason wanted to go to VivoCity (located at Harbourfront, just before entering into Sentosa Island) as we’ve never been there before.
So, there we went.... Had to take the train and switch to the North-East Line.
Once we were there.. wow.. it was huge…. Not sure as big as Mid Valley Megamall.. but it’s comparable..
We ate at Carl’s Junior and it was ok lah.. the burger was nice, the fries was not so saltish… but as in burgers, I think Chilly’s still has one of the best.. Too bad I do not have pictures to show because I was super hungry at that time.. We took about half an hour to 45 minutes by train to reach there..
After dinner, we went up to the roof top garden of the complex.. click here and here to check for more info…
Check out some night pics.. and the last one were the next day when we brought Jason’s parents and bro for dinner…And also, where his brother bought a pair of Nike shoes for 40% discount, and the model is only out 4 months ago. They usually give 40% discount on shoes more than 3 months (After a season passes, the new season comes in). Cool eh? Of course, you have to get it from the Nike shop itself. I bought a pair of walking Adidas shoes…and it costs me only $55.30.. 30% discount.. kekeke… Anyway, everyone's doing some last minute shopping because as of 1st July, the GST (Govt. Service Tax) will increase from 5% to 7%. So they even have pre-GST sales.. Hahaha.. funny..
Taken from the roof-top garden. The bridge over to Sentosa Island. Sorry, pic not clear because I had to zoom. The famous Merlion is on the right side of the pic.
The garden below, overlooking Sentosa Island
Night shots of the garden. A bit too dark, eh? Didn't use my flash.
The cool playground. Even adults get attracted to it.
My handsome model in front of Marche
My in-laws. Me, taking the pic. :)
And so,that's the end.. we had to rest well as his parents were coming over for the weekend......
