Cycling & Scott's Day Out...

We went cycling yesterday.. supposedly to cycle from East Coast Park (ECP) to Changi Village and back again to ECP...roughly about 30km in all. But failed. We cycled from ECP to Changi Village.. stopped for lunch for the famous nasi lemak... And Abby,Mel,Jane joined us there.

And Abby brought her Scott! A fine pure breed of Labrador Retriever. He's already 3 years old, but he still thinks and behaves like a pup. After lazing around, we felt lazy to cycle back to ECP, thus Abby sent Ken to ECP to get the van and we finally went to Changi Beach park (just a walk away from Changi Village). We thought of getting Scott into the sea to swim, as Abby said he was afraid when she brought him last time when he was 6 months old. Among the 4 dogs she currently owns (Lab ret., Cocker, & 2 labra-spaniels), Scott is the most obedient one. So, it's easy to bring him out. Well, he went for obedience school and came out tops!, much to his master's surprise. :)

He was such a cutie. Looking for food at every chance he had. Hehe.. Well, which dog doesn't? Even Philo does that!

What a fine dog he is!

Check out the trails... super-shady! on the left is Changi airport runway..

Finally reached Changi Village.. *phew*

Of nasi lemak, hotdogs, burgers, chicken wings, fruit punches... yummy!

Scott swam! Hooray!

4 gals, 2 guys & a dog name Scott!
(using a Canon DSLR - a random guy who was photographing there shot this for us. Picture is so alive huh???)

Blessed Easter!

To all Christians, have a blessed Easter! As tomorrow is Good Friday, let's take some time to thank God for giving His only ONE and Begotten Son to die on the Cross for us to pardon our sins and to bring salvation to the world....

Till then, have a blessed weekend.. I'll be in Segamat/Malacca over the weekend... It's time! Missing Philo already....Hehehehe... :)

Flower- arranging & Sushi-making @ Entelechy '09

It's part of the Entelechy event, under the East@Paya Lebar event....It's abundant living with new learning... I chose flower arranging & sushi-making...

And it was fun!!! *Note: lots of pics!*

The Summit - which was divided nicely to fit most of the classes!

Surveying the place, and found this at the sushi-making class

Check out the guitars for the guitar class!

The stuffs for flower arranging

This got me all excited!

Personal grooming class - You are allowed to take back the mirror and brush set!

The first step...

Taaaa daaaa! Nice? I roughly got the idea, so I can mix and match other flowers and other arrangements..

Sushi making class starts... with cucumber cutting!

Ta daaa.. the hardest part was to roll it!!

So for now.. anyone wants simple flower arrangement, I am able to do it.. hehehe.. besides, I bought a few books on this too :P Also, sushi, hmm.. must master the art of rolling.. :P

Till then.. have a great weekend everyone!

Wassup?

Ho ho ho... it has been a long time since I've last posted.. Anyway, here's some of the updates.. over the past few days of not writing.. :)

1) Malacca/ Segamat (12th - 15th Dec)

Yep, back home.. kinda rushed because we had to go drive to Segamat the next day. Upon reaching Malacca, we got a dear friend and ex-colleague, MP to come pick us from the petrol kiosk outside our place, then started picking up the rest of the group.. Liza & KBK for supper. It was close to 11pm. We went to the burger special place near the big longkang (drain) at Melaka Raya. Ok, for those who do not know where is it, it's near Eon Bank, after Classic Bridal studio, go further up, and taa daa...Burger Special...while sipping the teh tarik (milk tea) that I missed so much. We chatted the night away about the good old times at my previous company... chatted till about 1++am... think mummy Liza has never stayed out so late for supper till so late.. hehehe...I just realised that all 5 of us were studying in the same uni, and had our first work experience in the same company.. cool, huh?

Yummy burger

The next day, after our visit to the dentist, we made our way back to Segamat... Stayed there for a night, and the next day drove back to Melaka. Jason was tired, so I took the wheels over. :) On Sunday night, went for dinner with my mum, and cousin's family with my nieces. :) After dinner, we took a walk to Melaka Megamall to visit my bro at Starbucks.. and took this pic at the concourse area... with mum.. :) The small fella has really grown...

2) Inle (Myanmar Restaurant)

When we came back, JT was in town for his biz trip. So we went out for dinner at this place called Inle @ Marina Square. It was so-so lah.. Think I can't visit Myanmar.. not used to the taste.. but their chicken curry was really good.

3) Church service
We went to CHC's candlelight service last evening. The sight was really nice when the hall was filled with candle light alone... and singing Silent Night. :) After that we went to T3 for dinner with my colleague.

Today, we went to TCC's 11.30am service and worship was good. Could really feel the presence of God was really strong.. and Ps. Dom was speaking blessings to each and everyone of us in the hall. Ps. Dennis' message spoke to our hearts. Amen! This would be our last service in TCC for the year 2008. :P

After that went for lunch at this grill place at East Coast Road... De Bali Affair.

We went to Parkway Parade, bought a pair of Levi's (exchange your old jeans of any brand and get a $50 rebate on your next purchase). I must say that I'm pretty proud of myself that I could get into the size I was previously in when I was 16 yrs old and had my first Levi's jeans...Hehehe.

Back to work tomorrow.. though my boss and customer is already leave and company shutdown.. So.. I have nothing much to do in the office.. perhaps.. shall leave earlier.. ehehe.. shopping perhaps?

Un Concierto Del Ringraziamento

Yes! It was truly a great event..( East@Trinity PL - Acts Alive),  We had a great time at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport (though I have no comments on the food :P), but it was trully a night to remember... We had our usual praise/ sing sessions, and also at the same time, praising and giving thanks for all He has done for the past year... And not forgetting, as we are all so well-dressed (yup, once a year only), of course we were taking pics like crazy ppl! Hahaha.. so here you go.... let the pics tell the story.. :P..more pics on my Facebook...
