Eating Marathon *edited*

We went to Shokudo again with LY, J, ET and both of us. J is LY's ex-unimate, and ET is LY & Jason's Sgt childhood friend, and also one of Jason's best man during our wedding. He just started working in Spore, not too long ago (about 2 weeks?). So we brought all of them to this "wonderful" place, which we had not too long ago...More stuffs, (but I had my chicken katsu curry.. again!), and didn't take many pics because we were busy eating. *chomping away*
During lunch, we had our so called colleagues farewell at Cafe Cartel. Basically it's me leaving, Liza flying back to Sibu for maternity, and JT going to Austin for training for 6 months. So it was all lumped into one.

After lunch, was emailing with ex-co's colleague, and impromptu, planned for dinner that night. So for dinner, MF, HM, KC and both of us went to Spaggeddies at Paragon. The bill came to about $90 for 5 of us, but check out the enormous servings! Goodness, gracious me! Anyway, my carbonara was good! (It should be since it's $15 per plate!).

We had korean mee at home since it was pouring cats & dogs and downstairs of my hdb flat, it was almost flooded! We saw a car from the kitchen window, where its wheels were 1/4 deep into the water. It was really pouring so heavily that day, not sure why though, with thunder and lightning. But after about half an hour, the water subsided drastically, it was so fast! We're always amazed where the water goes to. Never have I seen drains here full of water during rainy seasons. The most is like 1/4 of the drain filled with smooth, running water. And the monsoon drains never get above 1/4 filled too. Amazing!
We were serving as traffic marshalls at church that evening, and after service, we went to a food court at Tg. Katong Rd. Most of us just had normal food court food. But we then adjourned to Miss Clarity cafe nearby. Surprisingly this branch has not many people, therefore, we didn't have to wait long like what previously we did at Purvis Street. And yes, Jules was with us! She just came back from Shanghai on Sat wee hours of the morning, and will be flying to Taipei today. Her schedule's really hectic. Hehehe. We got ZY to serenade us with some songs on the piano available there. He did the first song, then the second, and after that, was playing throughout. Hehe. It was a good time spent chilling with them... Oh, did I mentioned that we had chocolate fondue for dessert? Yummy!

Yes, we went to Wild, Wild, Wet at Pasir Ris. Jason balloted for the free tix and got it. He's allowed to bring 3 people along with him. So we asked KC & Carol to join us. Of course, it isn't as big as Sunway Lagoon, but we had a great time though. It feels like holiday. Hehehe.

Jason's cuz, Jo, invited us over to her place for dinner, to have a small birthday dinner for her sis, Ju. So, together with their parents who came over from JB, and their aunt, and her bf, we had sushi, salad, grilled chicken, lamb steak!, rice, prawns, orange champagne cake (from BreadTalk) (yummy)! Stomach was really filled. Despite all the 'eatings', I still managed to maintain my weight. But I will still need to shed of 3kgs. Sigh. So I guess, that sums out my eating marathon for the past few days. Seriously need to go on a fruits & vege diet after this. And more running! Perhaps, 4km at one go.
