Jakarta city, National Museum:
We left the hotel at about 10.30am, for the Museum. Since it was a Friday, the museum closes at 11.30am for their prayers...And so to the museum we went.. It was located right in the city itself, and somewhere near the palace.

The monument right in the middle of city... it's a huge roundabout...Very nice!

Jason & his Chinas...
Something interesting we found at the museum...
Zoomed in further
Some others of the like
Jakarta City, Palace:
Next, we went for a short tour to get a glimpse of the Palace...
Quite heavily guarded, not allowed to be near it.. :)
Jakarta City, Monash Monument (National monument)
Jakarta City, Cathedral:
Next, we went into the famous Cathedral.... It takes you to another place... You don't feel you're in Jakarta.. hehehe.... Ironically, it's also next to the national mosque...
Outside the cathedral.. Nice architecture ya?
Inside the cathedral, altar section..
Inside the cathedral, the ceiling design.. it's wooden..
Jakarta City, Taman Mini Indonesia:

Looks like a doll house.. something you will see in Disneyland?

It's huge.. the place is super huge.. it comprises not only the Taman Mini, but also the Imax cinema, water theme park, and so on.. We, being so ambitious, thought we're able to go to each "house" and take pics.. after awhile, we were sweating like mad.. so I told myself.. better not lah.. so the Pak Tamin was kind enough to drive slowly so that we're able to take pics in the comfort of the air-con and plus, because it was a 4-wheel (Honda CRV), it was at a comfy height that we can see many things.. muahahaha.. yups.. we were chauffeured-driven throughout our entire stay in Jakarta.. :P
Something interesting we saw along the way:
Nasi Gila (Crazy Rice)... hahahaha.. we asked the driver what was it.. he said he has no idea too....
Some Bahasa Indonesia we picked up during our stay there..
Antri = Queue (Beratur)
Kamar kechil = Toilet (Tandas)
Kappan? = When (bila)
Cabai rawet = Chilly (Cili)

I know there's a word for airport, it's not lapangan terbang.. starts with "B".. hehhee.. forgot already...
After that, we left back for Jakarta city.. (Taman Mini is about 45 mins away from the city.. forgot the name of the place :P)....
Picked my aunt from her factory.. and went for dinner..
Dinner, she brought us to Pondok Laguna.. Sundanese seafood...

Check out the Butterfly fish... for those of you who love fish head... this is the place you should go.. anyway, this restaurant is so packed.. that if on weekends, you might have to line up just to get in... It seems, according to my aunt, this place is Msians fave. :)
