Lerk Thai
A few days before the run, after collecting the champion chip and bib, we were at Marina Square, so we were looking for a place to eat for dinner. I was craving for something spicy/ soupy, so we ended up at Lerk Thai. We were looking through at their promotions/ menu outside of the restaurant.
Promotion for dinner was, eat any ala carte dishes worth $10 and above, get the seafood tomyam soup for $2 (usually it's $8). Quite a good deal, we thought, so we went in.
What we ordered, green curry chicken (it's nice, but super hot!), the tomyam (surprisingly it's not that spicy, but it's clear water tom yam, Jason loved it), kangkung belacan, and the Thai rice, is just super fragrant. We finished clean everything, and that too, thank God I didn't finish half of my rice, because it was really filling. Must be the soup. After that, Jason ordered the red ruby dessert. My goodness, it's only about $3, but the bowl is huge! Thank goodness I canceled my mango and sticky rice dessert.
We thought that the price is quite reasonable, just nice, and no wonder there were a number of people in the restaurant too.
