Cell Multiplication & Mooncake Festival
Yes, it was two-in-one. Err.. actually not lah. It just coincided with the mooncake festival. And yeah, to make things clear, as Christians, we do not celebrate mooncake festival like the others do with the praying and all that. We just.... play lanterns. And eat mooncakes. Yummy!
Last night marked the end of the one big group of Sunnydalers and the beginning of 2 brand new cells, Sunnydalers & 7 Mimosa cell members. The new group will be headed by Frank, taking with him 4 other guys and 2 ladies. The rest who stay back will be under our new cell leader, Jaena. *Applause, cheers*. There were a total of 23 of us yesterday. Imagine if we had cell group like this every week, the host will need to bring in more chairs. Hehehe. On average, our cell is about 10-15 ppl per week. I have a feeling, that the remaining Sunnydalers might have to multiply again.... real soon... Hehehe...
We prayed over for the new cell members, that they will be an impact to the surrounding neighbourhood and also bringing in more new believers. And we prayed over for the 2 leaders that God will anoint them with His wisdom as they both lead the cells. Amen!
After that, it was playing lantern time. hehehe. And also a time of fellowshipping with one another. And we had nice and yummy food that day, chicken wings, fillet, beehoon fried by Kenny (yes, a guy!) and he even had one vegetarian bee hoon, and guess what? It tasted so good. :)
After this, we left at 10.30pm to catch our bus while the rest waited for the other cell (previously multiplied from here too) to join them to have supper. Really tired, but it was great. Jason & I have always looked forward to going for cell. May God bless the 2 cells! Adios!
