Of Yummy Buns, Potato Salads, Roasted chicken & Pizza
The above is just to name a few of the food prepared during our cell group meeting on Tuesday (2 days ago). Sadly, Jason couldn't join because he had to help LY shift house/room.
Jason & I have been attending cell group during the 3 months here (But can count with fingers the number of times we actually went.. hehehe.. *guilty*). We meet up in S's place in Sunnydale, Serangoon. (That's why they call it Sunnydale cell). On Tuesday, S had to go to Taiwan for a business trip, so we switched to J's place also in Serangoon, a few bus-stops away from S's place. Serangoon is rather far from where we're staying.. perhaps 15-20 mins by bus or half an hour by train. All the same, it was initially Liza's cell group and she brought us there. There are about an average of 10 of us? Hehehe.. and it was a nice time of fellowshipping and eating of course. Entertainment that night was mostly by J's sister who had all these "lame" games up her sleeves. Hehehe..
J shared with us from Psalms 126, and it is basically for the cell, because we're going to multiply again. (lay-man terms, split because the group is too big already). This is the second time it's splitting.. in 6 months. Wow. Pretty fast. Yes, indeed, the Lord has done great things for the cell even though I've only been in it for 3 months. And, yes, those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. I pray that God will continue to raise up leaders among us, and that His hand, anointing of grace & wisdom will continually be upon F & J as they lead the cells.
At the end of the sharing, we were asked to write down what we would like to see the cell in the future. Plainly, I just wrote that the cell will continue to be fruitful and multiply, and also continue to be a blessing unto others as how it did for both, Jason & I.
Hope to get a whole group picture before we "multiply".
Yeah.. God bless.
