New Oikos
After being here for 3 months plus, my boss (boss for my sub-dept), invited us over to his place for dinner as we had two Suzhou guests with us. So he wanted to have some "bonding session" and called it team building session instead.
So, on Thursday, 2nd Aug, all of us met at the office lobby at about 6pm. From there, we took about a 15 min walk to Kembangan MRT station. Next, we waited for the next train straight to Pasir Ris station which is the last station for East of Spore. That took about half an hour ride. Then we took bus 403, which stops near the junction to his house.
It's quite an old house, bungalow.(As in the shape, pattern and all). Wow. Staying in a bungalow in Spore is realllllllly ..... something. Anyway, he stays just a few steps away from the Pasir Ris Park.
We had Sakae Sushi, Pizza Hut (4 pizzas), home-made popiah, mee hoon, lotus leave rice, chicken wings, etc for dinner. Yummy. And, my boss opened at least if I'm not mistaken 5 bottles of red wine and 1 bottle of white wine, and one cup of Martell + ginseng. Phew. I think he didn't expect all 14 of us to drink that much. :P We had fun chit-chatting and nothing to do with work-related stuffs. Reached home at almost 12am. We were given the permission to go to work slightly late the next morning. Thank God.
