Dalam Satu Keping
With the recent news reports on bus accidents, I was a little bit weary of travelling. And to think we depend on buses to go home back to Melaka. Anyway, we went back last Friday. Reached Melaka at about 10pm (passed the Ayer Keroh toll), and a few minutes after that, there was a road block. Ops Bersih was in action. Our bus, was stopped for about half an hour, while the other buses just stopped for a moment. It was a long wait. And was also worried if the bus driver had done something wrong, or had past summons not settled. I guess, the police were finding his license history. About 5 photographers/ journalists took the picture of the front part of the bus. Not sure why though.
After half an hour later, we were "free" to go. Hooray! My dad fetched us from Kotamas (usual routine for either my parents or brother to fetch us from there), and brought us to go for dinner.
The next morning, we left for Segamat at about 9am. Will post up some pics of this big little town.. and the great food it has. :) We were in 3 places in one day. Segamat, Melaka, Spore. Hehehe. We will be travelling more in Sept, as 3 out of 4 weekends we'll be back in Malaysia. We find it better means of spending our weekend (it's boring here!), and get to eat home-cooked food! Yay! (Of course, not mentioning spending time with loved ones, and my home! I miss my king-size-bed-with-hard-mattress).
All in all, we're back in Spore in one piece. All glory, praise, and honour to God for protecting us. The bus drivers were not speeding as they usually do.. Hehehe.. good thing. I don't mind reaching late, as long as I'm still DALAM SATU KEPING (in one piece). :)
