C.H.I.J.M.E.S
Sad to say, it was previously a glorious church, now turned to a pub, restaurant and cafe frenzy. However, the church is still there.... CHIJ stands for Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (yep, the name of my primary & secondary school)... and M.E.S at the back, basically stands for... nothing.. It's just there to make the word pronounced as "chimes". Which is rather sad that a place so rich with history becomes like this.. Click here for more history on it. But the place is cool... Lots of happening stuffs there...
And so, yeah.. we met up with WanSin, her friend, Liza, TPK & hubby, Jason & I, and LY for dinner. We were at Bobby's, a famous American restaurant, famous for its grilled stuffs. All of us had grilled pork ribs that night.
Except for TeoPK & hubby, they took grilled prawns, chicken and pork combo. It was delicious. First time I ever finished everything on my plate. Thank God Jason & I shared, else, neither of us could have finished it. And yes, it's very ,very,very expensive. Our set, which consists of a salad, grilled pork, and dessert, cost us $48 (including tax of 17%). So, here you have.. some pics of the food taken and also the place...
