New York, New York
Last Friday, we met up with Jason's friend, LY for dinner. This time, it was our turn to treat to him since he treated the both of us when we first arrived in Spore.
So, we headed for City Hall MRT station, (it's in CityLink Mall) met him there, and went to this place called New York, New York. Fay said something nice about this restaurant if I'm not mistaken, but I don't know what exactly she mentioned which was good here. So we tried. It's basically western food, something like Chilly's in KL.
The drinks came, and we were so amazed at the size of LY's root beer float. It's huge. And we were impressed by the drinks. They were good.
The menu: Front page
The menu: Inside

Jason's drink : Mocha something. Forgot the name. The dark color at the bottom is pure chocolate. And they have a coating of ice around the ice-cream so that it doesn't melt by the time you want to have it. It was so rich and yummy!
My drink : Mango & Pineapple frozen blended. It was refreshing and so "kao"
LY's drink : The famous root beer float. Look at the gigantic size of the cup. (And he finished it all)
Jason's meal: I forgot what's the name of the burger. He thought he won't be full, but he was full, what more, plus his drink.
LY's meal: BBQ Steak. Now you see it,
Now you don't.
I took the spaghetti carbonara. Nothing special, I think Pizza Uno's is much better. The burger that Jason took also can't beat the one in Chilly's. Price range was ok lah. Of course, it's much more above than the average "zhap fan" (economy rice) that we usually have in the foodcourts. The ambience is nice... that I forgot to take a pic of it. Perhaps, the next time I pass by that place, I'll take a pic of the place. Ok... so, that's all for now.. Maybe we'll have more adventure this weekend since we won't be going back to Melaka.... Have been wanting to go to Holland Village. Heard there are many famous local foods there... chaoz...
