Lazy Sunday...
Yes, indeed it is. I just came home from a little "window" shopping. Woke up earlier about 7+am to go to the loo, and woke hubby up just in case he wants to do his last-minute revision before his exams starts at 9am at Expo hall.
I woke up at 10++ after that, lazed around, made my "teh-tarik" courtesy of Old White Coffee where they prepared something for tea-lovers like me! I realised I am a teh-c addict. :P Which is not good, according to my aunt, because it's too "cooling" and probably it'll be difficult to conceive.
Jason's fav coffee on the left, & my fav teh-tarik on the rightBut then, knowing me.. argh.. drink/ eat now, think later. Hehehe. So there goes my breakfast with the teh-tarik & Hup Seng cream crackers. Yummy! Black coffee is so far the best, but I minimize my coffee intake these days because the breath really stinks as well as your urine! Yucks! (Just like durians, or petai - Yummy, but smelly!)
After reading the main part of the papers, I took my bath, and was on my way to Expo hall. Jason asked me to be there early to "tapao" food for him when he finishes his paper at 12pm so that he doesn't need to waste time to queue for lunch as his next paper was at 2pm. And you know Subway at Expo always has a queue, as there are 2 church services there, lots of expo sales going on as well... (John Little, Harris/ Popular, Motherhood, etc...). So when I arrived, the queue had around 25-30 people in front of me. When he finished, he called me and managed to get a small space to have our lunch.
He thanked me for coming to get him lunch as well as to accompany him for lunch. :D I didn't want to go actually because it's such a hassle and I take close to 45 mins to get there because of the trains and waiting time. But, I knew he was pretty stressed over the week as he was rushing through the 5 books which was needed to prepare for the exams. I saw many, many, many people taking the exam. It's madness. It reminds me of uni days during exam period where lots of students just sits down on the floor and get their last minute notes for revision before it starts.
After he left for the exam, I went around John Little sales, bought a bag for S$13. :) Something I probably need for work, else it's always the same old sturdy bag I use to have. And surprisingly, nothing after that. I went to Tampines 1 after that to look-see, nothing much though everything was on sales! Next was Tampines Mall, went in straight to Levi's shop, as there's a good buy. 2 bottoms (jeans only) for $99.90, 2 tees for $29.90, 2 polo-tees for $39.90. Cheap right? And the best part, they allow you to choose from the lady's side as well as the guys. So I tried 4 pair of jeans & a skirt. Wanted only one pair, so will wait for Jason if he wants another pair of Levi's, so we could buy together. Am so proud of myself that I didn't buy anything after that, so I headed straight home..
Now,.. wanna have a short nap, and wait for Jason to come home and have dinner together and have some "us" time... something missing for the past 2 weeks or so since he had to mug for exams. That's why I hate studying. :P
Check out this link, on how Obama has his "Michelle time" even though he has a busy schedule. A role model to follow for those who been married for a long time and with kids! Touches me!
