~ just the two of us ~

Last Sat, while having lunch with Shirley, (my cell hostess) at HV, we decided to wear skirts to work on Monday. Which was yesterday (we rarely wear them). And so, I bought a skirt on the way back. Hahaha.

I wore it to work yesterday. Wearing it for the first time since I started work in Flextronics. :P Some of the response I got was:

1. Wah.. where are you going tonight? (in the lift with a guy-colleague)
2. Well, well, like what I said, jeans are meant for guys.. not ladies... (another guy colleague)
3. Wow, you're in skirt! (another guy colleague)
4. Texting to another colleague "Today Rachel wear skirt wor.." (my team assistant)
5. Errrmm.. can you come in to my office awhile? I need to talk to you awhile... (my boss called me at my extension). After going into his office, "Errmm.. you're wearing skirt today....nicee.." me: What the.....
6. Hmm.. very unusual to see you wearing like that.. (my new boss' boss - director of a project)..
7. Wah.. today you're wearing skirt - in Mandarin (one of the girl operators)..
and so on.... Hahaha..

Shirley text me mid-aftrnoon if it was fun. I said yup. She suggested if we should wear skirt again today, to have double wows. I promised her I will, but am on MC today.

I text my new boss that I'll be on 2 days MC.... the response I got was..."Drink lots of water. Cover up the legs. Must had caught a cold yesterday." *speechless*.

Hahaha. I figured out I won't be doing this too often. It's such a chore to really be conscious of how you sit, how you go up and down the stairs, and go up and down the car/bus. Hahaha.. till then.. me going to zZzzzzzzz now.. medicine is taking the effect..
