Permanent Residence

After coming back from watching "The Enchanted" last night, I had a pleasant surprise. To side-track a little bit, the show is a good watch, though I almost fell asleep during the first part. It's a lovey-dovey thing where you can only just dream and wish... There's nothing such as "forever and ever" (except in the Bible), and "happily ever after" (who are we kidding?).

Anyway, the surprise was this:

Just before we left for the movie, I told Jason that I will call up ICA tomorrow (today) to ask about my application, because he received his about 3 weeks ago. Was a little bit kan-cheong. And yeah.. patience, my friend. Hehehe. Anyway, still need to perform some formalities before I get my IC. In many ways, it kept me thinking and I still know that our permanent residence is not on this earth, but it's up there, with Him, Almighty. All these things are temporary, and will fade away...

Lately, most of our Msian friends here have been watching the exchange market rather closely because the figures keeps on getting bigger and bigger... And sigh... looking at the rate the graph is going, how are we supposed to go back?? :P
