Stranded
Yesterday was not really a good day for me. Ran some errands after church (finally managed to visit Mike's baby - pretty lanky). Hehehe. L sent us to the bus station, before that, we had tea/dinner at Giant. Upong arriving at the bus station, Oh no! I found out the tickets were at 3.30pm and not 5.30pm. Oh no! I called Jason to hurry over (he was buying DVDs), and so happened, we asked the bus co. if there were anyone selling their tickets. So happen, there was a gal selling one ticket. We still needed one more for Jason. In the end, I bought over the ticket, and went on the bus with Liza. Jason went to the other counters to get a bus ticket. Finally, he managed to get Melaka-Singapore Express at 6pm.
The jam wasn't that bad all the way, but there were many people. I call it people-jam. After reaching Woodlands, wow, more people. And thus, we finally managed to come out at about half-an-hour later. The bus left us! Can you imagine? This is my first time I got stranded at the customs. Anyway, we went looking for other buses such as Delima or Melaka-Spore, but all have left already. We waited. Then came this 707 bus from KL and we asked the driver if we could get a lift from him. And he said he had to give way to his passengers first. If there are empty seats, then we could hop on.
And after about an hour at the customs, we finally hopped on the bus, and reached home about 10.30pm. Jason reached home close to midnight.
Tiring night, but it was a good weekend. :)
