Satu Ringgit

A few weeks ago, went to a foodcourt where we use to eat there for lunch near the company.
There's a Malay shop which sells quite nice pisang goreng (fried bananas). My friends told me it was 3 pieces for S$1. And so, to satisfy myself, I walked over to get it.

Me : Makcik pisang goreng berapa? (Aunty, how much are the fried bananas)?
Aunty : Three for one dollar.
Me : OK, bagi satu ringgit (ok, give me one ringgit (money used in Malaysia))
Aunty : *looking at me, blur*. Ha? This is Singapore, not Malaysia...
Me : Oppps.. yah, pisang goreng, one dollar please. Sorry.
Aunty : *smiled* Tak apa. (It's ok).
Me : *embarassed*

Hahaha.... There were so many people at the store, felt kinda stupid.
Anyway, when I shared this with other Msians, they laughed, because they were also in the similar situation.
